cannot deleat?

I have an older Dell desk top computer, Recently I downloaded a game called
ZUMA, did not like it so I uninstalled it. The program had a preloader that
downloaded first (digitalife-winzumasetup-dm). Well well, I am unable to
delete it. I have tried everything, I have used regcleaner, searched the
registry, checked startup programs, I am at wits end. It is just annoying.
I contacted the company, they have no clue what to do. Is there a way to
force a deletion, or a program that will tell me what is running that is
hooked to this program above that is not allowing it to be deleted?

Acquire or create a boot floppy (W98, etc.) and delete it at DOS level after
booting from the floppy.

start in safe mode and try again. to enter safe mode press f8 during post
and a menu should appear that offers you different ways to start. after
that, download/update/run spybot search&destroy. it is free and very
effective.
