I just got a new rig, (Asus a 620m-e pro, ryzen 5 7500f, 2x16 HyperX fury beast ram (5600 MHZ)) Whenever I try to go into the BIOS to enable A-XMP and click save and reboot the BIOS screen just freezes and the PC does nothing until I manually restart it, what could be the issue here? do I need to return the ram? (BIOS is updated to the latest version)

(BIOS is updated to the latest version)
Instead of stating, the latest version, it helps us two fold if we learned of the BIOS version.

If you did update the BIOS after you got your system up and running, did you make sure to clear the CMOS after the BIOS was verified to be on the latest? If not, you should disconnect from the wall and display, then remove the CMOS battery for 30 minutes. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain any residual power on the platform.

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU. How are you cooling the processor?

Do I have to clear the CMOS after updating the BIOS to the latest version?
