Cannot get my vizio theatre system model SB3251n to connect to my Sanyo Tv Model FW55D25F B

Currently trying to set up my theatre system with my tv, seems to be working with bluetooth and all but it just wont connect to my TV. Changed settings on my tv aswell but still no sound. Any ideas as to what it may be?

Should be as simple as connecting the optical out on the TV to the soundbar and setting the input on the soundbar.. You may want to provide some details about how you are trying to connect them and why is there an issue.
