Ok basically I’ve been looking around and I cannot solve my problem. The BIOS recognises my SamsungNvme 970 evo 1TB M.2 drive but everytime I try to install windows it won’t let me. I got as far as installing files where it failed. Now I just can’t install as it won’t let me format the drive and everytime I try to delete The partitions it fails and then when I refresh on the installer the drive disappears altogether? What can I do. I had the USB work installing windows on my hard drive where I also ran a test to see if there was bad sections of the M.2 which came back negative. My motherboard is an ASUS maximus hero VIII with i7 6700 16GB Ram and a 2070 super. Please help. This is the replacement drive I don’t Think I’d get two faulty ones.

Solution
I hate hirensboot cd for my own reasons but itll help you here

Google it, download, install on a usb, boot up

Open the partition software (google)

Reformat (be careful, read read read everything, my god please read everything) the drive as filesystem, ntfs and gpt partition (google)

Shutdown the computer properly, safely

Unplug hiren, put in your windows

Install, on the m.2 etc etc

If it fails again, why blame the drive? Get a windows 10 iso and set up a new bootable usb, reinstall windows again after repeating my first steps above, use your "key" to activate
