Canon i860 error - paper source

My wife wants to throw away her printer, so I am trying to fix before she does that. In trying to print, she gets the error "The selected paper size and the paper source are not compatible". It states "To continue printing, turn the photo paper tray handle to the right, load paper of the correct size into the feeder, then click OK". the photo paper tray was not even in the printer. I went ahead, put in the photo paper tray, turned the handle to the right, but still get same error. Also, when I try a test page (same results), it states to run "Troubleshooting", but can't find where that is. Any ideas?

i think you have to change the paper bundle & use it , because sometimes the paper didn't match the exact size of paper portal with paper & second may be it is use of different printer ink cartridges . it will help
