I have re-installed my Office 2003 Professional suite but the problem
remains. I can preview in each individual application using that
application preview option as I can in Paint Shop Pro and all other
applications. It is only when I select print that the Canon starts to
print immediately without showing the Canon Print Preview screen even
though this has been selected in Print Preferences.

You may have selected "Show Print Preview" in the printer Properties, but
after you check the block did you click Apply and OK to set and save settings?
If you did and still have the problem, click the Factory Settings button.
If that
doesn't solve the problem, uninstall and reinstall the printer, the file to
show
print preview may be corrupt or did not install.
