can't access bios to boot from usb

Hello,
so i have my laptop on windows 8 and i wanted to clean install windows 10 to it

i had no way of enter bios/uefi or boot menu for usb booting since it's not in advanced start up
and i tried every single key while booting f1-f2-f11-f12-del etc

so i had an idea (btw it's an old laptop i never usually use it) to just upgrade to windows 10 and then i'll have bios access to do my clean install but i forgot my admin account pass and i'm stuck on local acc with win 10 on a flash with no way of booting from it

try googling your laptop model to see which key to press to get into BIOS so you can set boot priority to USB

i know which button it's DEL and i did it before but never with win 8 it's never worked with 8

didn't work :\ it booted directly to windows

try using external cd/dvd writer and choose device during boot menu.
