Can't access my Buffalo Drive Station External USB 2.0 Hard drive

Hi,

I am having trouble accessing my saved photos and music on my Buffalo 2.0TB HD. It usually works fine. I plug it in and the computer recognises it normally. This time the laptop is not showing it in devices.

There are lights on the HD and I have tried to use different USB ports on my laptop. I have also tried to connect it to another laptop, it doesn't show on there either.

I have tried to look at the Buffalo website but it doesn't make much sense to me as I am not technically minded.
