Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to fix a computer that won't boot up properly.

Every time we turn it on, the screen would only show the motherboard splash screen, and the keyboard wouldn't respond.

I've found a way to get it through by just re - seating the SATA cable on the main HDD, then once it reboots, It boots up to Windows.

But the problem now is that it keeps on coming back and won't boot up unless if I reseated the SATA Cable.

Here's what I have tried:
1.) Changed it to another SATA Port - Doesn't fix it.
2.) Changed the SATA Cables - Doesn't fix it.
3.) Disabled "Fast Boot" - Doesn't Fix it
4.) Set BIOS to default settings - Doesn't fix it.

It's been over a week and I'm out of ideas. So, if anyone can give me some advice on troubleshooting this PC. Please help me.

Here's the Specs:
Intel Core i7 7700
ASUS H110MD,
Kingston 16GB RAM DDR4
(2) Seagate HDDs
HuntKey 500W PSU
NVIDIA QUADRO K2000,

Thanks!

Hi Everyone, I just found out from reading forms that certain USB devices "can" cause trouble when booting up a computer. Apparently, there was an ID Printer that was always connected to the PC. I tried removing just that then,

"beep"

PC's On.

Still, I find it strange why would it cause something like that. I work as IT Support in an office area and we have many computers with connected with printers and never heard of this from anyone else. Also, I had the Computer's BIOS set to only "UEFI" with the Windows Boot Manager as the first Boot. Anyways, I just hope this post helps anyone who ends up with the same situation as I did.
