Hello,
I had to reinstall xp and now xp won't boot when my Matrix raid o for storage drives are connected. XP boots to the xp splash screen and stalls. I can delete the raid and xp boots fine with all the drives connected. I did install the raid drivers using F6 when installing XP. I have checked all three drives and they are good. I have Googled for days and cannot find this exact problem.

Everything in BIOS look ok ?

Everything seem ok in the bios, i even updated to latest bios. The board is a Gigabyte p35-dq6. I can create the raid within xp with the matrix storage manager and it works fine but if I reboot it stalls on the xp splash screen, I can enter the Matrix bios and delete the raid and again it boots fine. If I create the raid in the matrix bios and the same thing happens.

I just received a forum email asking me to select the best answer to my question, since I only received one which was not helpful I will just have to choose my own answer. I would recommend another fresh xp install and see if the problem goes away. Just kidding, I appreciate the reply Ksiemb and all other who took the time to read my post. :pt1cable:
