Question Can't connect to WiFi on my laptop because "VMware network adapter VMnet8 doesn't have a valid IP configuration"

I have no idea what any of this means but looking it up online I can' seem to find any answers.

This is quite a recent issue, I've never had this problem before.

I have no idea what VMWare is. I don't think I am but honestly I have not a clue. This issue starter a week or so ago.

I have this same exact issue and it just started out of no where. i didn't download or make any new changes. I do have VMware installed but haven't used it in the recent times. what could be the problem?
