I've narrowed my search down to these two right here:

Asus P8Z68-V LE

Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128498&Tpk=ud3h-b3

I really can't distinguish which one is right for me. :na: Please help me decide on the right one. Thanks!

Expectations: Decent overclocker (2-3Ghz), good build quality/compatibility, avg onboard sound.
Background: GTX460, Zalman CPNS9700 for CPU, Ultra 600W. No SLI. Mech HDDs.

Solution

I made one build with that mobo, it OC'd to 4.4 GHz with no problem,

has USB3 - SATA3 - Z68 - u wont regret it.
Both are good boards but I think that the thing that really sets them apart is the number of SATA III ports (Gigabyte has 2 more) and the set up for the PCI-e x16 set up if you are doing SLI or Crossfire. The Asus board will go (x16, x4) while the Gigabyte board will go (x8, x8). http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007627%2050001314%20600158412&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&CompareItemList=280%7C13-131-773%5E13-131-773-TS%2C13-128-498%5E13-128-498-TS

I don't have crossfire in mind. I use 3 7200RPM SATA HDD and 1 SATA optic drive. That being said, I might just get the ASUS because it's cheaper. Will I regret this? : /

Were you referring to the LE version or the vanilla one? I'm going to get the LE. : )
