Can't defrag

Hello,

My computer runs on XP pro with an 80 go HD split into drives c and d and with 1Mo of ram. As it has been slowing down significantly, I analyzed the disks and both need defragmenting.

Analysis goes through fine. Defrag never gets beyond 1 percent. I've tried in Safe Mode, same thing. I've used "enditall.exe", same thing. I've run checkdisk and scandisk, antivirus, spybot, lavasof, everything checks out just fine.

What can I do to defrag my drives??? :roll:

Strange ... the link works for me.

How much free space do you have on your drive ?
Defrag needs 10-20% free space to be able to run properly.

Curious... I'm still getting the page not found using both Explorer and Firefox.

My HD has plenty of space to insure defrag -- over 45 percent free.

I've never had a problem defragmenting (even with a pretty full HD) until good ol XP sp2....
