To solve the problem follow the steps,
-Place your sd card
- Go to my computer
-Under My Computer find your sd card,(mine was "Eos Digital H"
-Right click on it and properties.
-Click on Sharing at top
-Click On Advanced Sharing
-Check Share this folder to activate permission
-Click on permission and give full permission to everyone.
-Apply and save setting
You are good to go.
For me, the change in Sharing settings did nothing positive (and I hope nothing negative.) It was the lock on the SD adapter card for a micro SD. I never had the problem of not being able to delete before starting to use a micro SD card (so I could also use it in a Asus Transformer.) I checked that the card was completely in the unlock position before I put it in. However, in several tries, I saw that the switch was half way to locked each time after pulled out, no matter how carefully I pushed it to the unlocked position before re-inserting. The switch must have moved closer to locked during insertion, since it would only go in the other direction when being pulled out (in just a pulling motion, not a push and pop.) The edge of the SD slot in my Dell Tower PC must be slightly tighter than the one in my Canon camera. Once I cut a very closely cropped slice of thin electrical tape and laid it across the gap where the switch would get moved to and pressed it along the sides, the Delete option has reappeared and worked thereafter. The switch now remains completely in the unlocked position. I was hesitant to put any tape on something going into the PC, but the tape does not appear to be nudged at all in going in and out and the tape is farther outside than the electrical contacts so it might be worth trying if the switch moved closer to locked during the push/pull in the PC.
