Hi , could do with some help cuz ive run out of options.

I have an old gigabute ga-z77-d3h motherboard which im planning to replace later this year(hence the temp nvme). Ive bought a WD black SN850 2tb and a Sabrent nvme m.2 pcie x16x8x4 card adapter for it.
Ive plugged it into my second pcie full size slot which should run at x4
Ive changed my mobo bios to x4 pcie instead of x1
Ive updated my mobo bios to latest r22? i think version
Ive changed my mobo bios from ide to ahci

I just cant get it to come up, and ive run out of ideas, any help appreciated thanks.
