indeed. your laptop at the moment doesnt find any Gsync compatible screen (i myself use Gsync too)

As soon as you hook up your Gsyns monitor in the control panel the option of Gsync will apear. Make this monitor the primary monitor and enjoy your Gsync power

Gsync should best run trough display port cable due to bandwith
Q: What are the requirements for using G-SYNC?
A: System must support DisplayPort 1.2 directly from the GPU.

GPU: G-SYNC features require an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650Ti BOOST GPU or higher.
O/S: Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10
Driver: R340.52 or higher

and here you go about the freesyn with G sync monitor list

No problem :).

Unfortunately Intel HD graphics Cant ben disabled in laptops. They tend to boot up using this card.

If you start a game for example it Will auto switch to your dedicated card.

If you want to be sure you are using your dedicated card. Check this link :

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_xxmLi_-lNw&feature=youtu.be

Then you can be sure your dedicated card Will be used

Hi man,

if you buy a Gsync monitor it will be supported by Nvidia.
If you buy a freesync monitor i cannot guarantee you it will work. The list i provided you is bound to work cause Nvidia tested them.

there is however here a guide on toms hardware

So you are never sure :s

Hello again guys,
My problem is that i have as good laptop as i told you already but it has poor performance in games.
Is there any option that i am missing?since it is the first time buying a laptop. I think that i have already set every setting to performance instead of batter save, but its still poor.

thats a though question. can be multiple things.

First of all can you please present the full specs of your PC ? (the tuf FX has 2 models as i can see)
What games do you play ?

Yeah i understand that but i have gone insane
the exact model is Laptop Asus 15.6" (i7-8750H /8GB/1TB HDD & 128GB SSD/GTX 1050 4GB) FX505GD-BQ131T
i am playing many games, but to be more specific lets say i am play Counter Strike Global offensive and the fps are around 130-160...i think its too low

i think even my system doesnt get more FPS then yours (havent played CSgo in a while. i will test it for you this evening)
i have a 2070 RTX with a Ryzen 5 1700X. my settings are ultra fcourse.

i think its coding of the game cant tell

Did you turn off V-sync? V-Sync matches your FPS to the refresh rate of your monitor.

ill check my complete settings and let you know.
i know for a fact that i never touch the settings at the Config panel in Nvidia. i leave this at default.

and i keep my Pc clean as @#$$@. every bit of bloatware, spyware or whatever can and will affect game performance in my opnion. maybe thats a bit harsh but i work that way.

1. delete not needed programs (all those windows apps that get pushed i delete instantly)
2. clean your pc every month (ccleaner, mallwarebytes)
3. keep all and i mean all your drivers up to date (sound, bios, chipset, ...)
4. make your PC faster with regedits and disable services (more info )
5. as a personal setting i disable the Security center from windows but i dont recommend this if you dont have your head in the game

ok. i had some delays with testing it.

everything on my system running on ultra i get like 240 fps per sec sometimes i peak to 300 but mostly i stick to 240

so perhaps yours is indeed a bit to low... since you state that you keep your system all up to date i am at a loss at the moment.
perhaps hit up the support forum at asus for this one.

cant think of anything at the moment... im at work tomorrow and have some free time, ill try and skimm the internet
