Question Can't get bottom cover off laptop -- get local shop to upgrade it or buy new laptop ?

Hello All

So for the life of me I can't get the bottom cover off this HP Omen 15-ce019dx laptop.

i think best shop does it, i tried with my Ifixit tool kit twice, but the 10th screw just will not budge no matter what i do.

If i go for a replacement was thinking an ALL AMD Gaming Laptop from the Asus TUF series.

Bad Idea or Good Idea?

As i figured i'd try it on the smaller machine first (my first ever Ryzen, then later on Get Replacement Desktop Ryzen based & Radeon Video Based

Notice how there's a screw in it's hole, at the top of the image? That should be a captive screw and it's meant to help lift the rear end of the cover while all other screws are meant to be removed.

The screw I can't get out is along the left edge. Funny part is my original screwdriver worked fine for all other screws, til got to last one.

Been stuck there ever since.
