Hello,
I purchased a lg w2040 20" 1600x900 monitor today. Hooked it up, got a picture, but CCC will only let me set the resolution at 1400x900. So I pulled out the driver cd that came with the monitor, popped it in, and tried installing the driver off the cd. Unfortunately, the driver wont install. I keep getting a installation failed when i click "install driver" in the lg program. I googled "can't install lg w2040 driver", no luck. I googled "lg w2040 driver" and only found something for windows xp 32 bit. I'm at a loss. I appreciate your help.
windows 7 64 bit

dvi adapter --->15 pin vga cable
the previous monitors had no trouble. I had a 1360x768, then i went to a 1280x1024. No problems setting the resolutions.
