Question Can't get my ram to 3200mhz

I have a ryzen 7 2700x, rog strix b450-f gaming mobo, 32gb corsair vengence 3200mhz ram and i have tried turning on docp and giving it more voltage and no matter what i try whenever it resets if i put it above 2733mhz it will say error to boot memory failed then put it back to 2133mhz.

If you put it at 2933MHz, does it work? If not, that's possibly a bad kit or stick of RAM. Try taking one stick out, booting with higher speed, and vice versa, and see if there's any difference.

How many sticks is 32GB made of and which slots are you using? Do you mean 2733 or was 7 a typo, meaning 2933?

4x 8GB modules is more difficult to run above 2933. If you have two sticks of 16GB each, check they're in slots 2nd and 4th from cpu.

What you can achieve is dependent on the mobo, the CPU, and DRAM. According to the mobo web site anything over 2666 is considered overclocking and overclocking is dependent on the specific silicon you have installed. Sometimes you can get the higher speed and sometimes not.

i have 4x8 which would explain that, and i have it set to run at 2733 mhz, so i cant go above that because of 4 sticks?

Possibly. Try two sticks and see.
