Question Can't install driver on windows

Spec:
MOBO-B450 tomahawk max
CPU-ryzen 7 5800x
GPU-AMD R9 7970 280x
PSU-Ace A-850BR 850W (Suprised it hasn't blown up yet tbh)

Installing amd GPU drivers from here selecting full install launching it has no issue it reaches the restart point where it starts installing the AMD gpu drive when it reaches the half way point it notifies me that AMD crash defenders requires me to restart where it will restart 2 times into windows automatic repair then telling me the computer has restarted incorrectly looking at event viewer it tells me that it was a kernal-power making me think it was a PSU issue.

I tried changing power setting to high consumption, turning off fast boot, updating windows and updating bios to which none have fixed the issue which leads me to think i need to get a new PSU but as a last ditch effort i want to ask you guys for any other way of resolving this issue i'm not that smart so any other relevant information may be needed please ask.

Power failed 1 second after start using the auto setting i guess that gave me my anwser thanks for your time.
