I just built this computer last night and now I'm having issues installing the operating system. I've got Windows 10 on a flash drive, I made it bootable using the Windows ISO tool. Whenever I set the "USB" to #1 in Boot Priority it boots past the little "Asus" screen and goes to a black screen with blinking white lines for about 10 seconds than it will go to the motherboard screen. I'm sorry if this isn't in the right section btw.

thing is I cant really boot another OS onto the computer cause for example with Windows 7 apparently you cant boot Windows 7 on a USB 3.0 port. I'll try your suggestion.

If I do your first suggestion the screen goes black for a second and goes back to the BIOS. With the second one, as soon as I press the "USB" to boot from it'll just take me to the BIOS anyway.

I can't find that option under the boot menu.

so i assume you tried hitting enter when you get to screen with blinking lights? i vaguely recall having to hit enter to boot off a device other than boot drive.

what type of drive are you installing to? does it show in the boot order?

what are specs of new pc?

Then you should redownload the window 10 onto the usb then. redo the process with the window 10 media creation tool.

I've hit enter yes.
