I can't install Windows 10 on my laptop, when I get to "Where do you want to install Windows?", in the list there's "Drive 0 Unallocated Space" with 931.5 GB total and free space and with the type field empty. When I select it and click next, I get a message saying "we couldn't install windows in the location you chose. Please check your media drive. here's more info about what happened :0x80300002".
Running diskparts clean command on the drive or clicking new in the GUI doesn't change anything.
When I run chkdsk it says "Error detected in uppercase file.", but I guess this is the USB I'm installing from.
When I list disks with "wmic logicaldisk get name, size", I get 3 disks, C: with 15.6 GB (which seems like the USB), D: with no size (which seems to be the empty cd drive) and X: with 0.5 GB (which idk what it is). The hard drive seems to be missing.

The laptop is an MSI GE60 2PC

This is what I found in BIOS that could be related to the hard drive (sata info and system info)

It looks like secure boot is off.

Trying to install windows 8.1 from a different usb (which has 8 gig), it's been loading for at least 15 minutes since I pressed next without going to a different screen or anything.
I forgot to say, I used to have windows 10 on the computer (upgraded from windows 7) but I got a blue screen and then got to the windows repair screen when I restarted the computer. Eventually the hard drive tried to repair itself I think and then it didn't even boot to windows repair anymore.
The blue screen happened when I was trying to install an invalid driver on the built in keyboard to disable it, since it was broken and pressed buttons automatically. I think a different driver was also modified because the keyboard registered keys being pressed.

here atone point they say to pick a partiton, but if there are partitions click those and delete them (i guess there's nothing on the laptop you want to keep).
Then when there's only unallocated space left click next and try to reinstall again.

Yes, I'm trying to custom install, but no partitions show up, there's only Drive 0 Unallocated Space.
Now I got a new error when trying to create a new partition, it says "We couldn't create a new partition. [Error: 0xbfa9b###]" where the # are different numbers each time. Also, after refreshing, Drive 0 is gone.
