Hi, I have been trying to migrate to an SSD, but have been unable.
At first, My current disk had 3 partitions, a system reserved, C: and one for reverting to the previous installation of windows.
I tried copying just C:M to the other disk, wouldnt boot up. I tried marking it as active, still wouldnt boot up. I tried running startup repair 3 times, that didnt work either. Then I removed the one for reverting windows, and cloned disk hdd to ssd. Still didnt work, even with repeating above steps.
Then, I tried merging system reserved into C: in my hdd, that worked after a few tries. However, I have been getting a few disk errors as of late and my computer even froze twice.
I still havent been able to boot up from the SSD.
Any ideas?

I already successfully merged system reserved into C, or rather i copied all the bcd stuff, similar to the steps used here:
https://www.terabyteunlimited.com/kb/article.php?id=409
and have no problems booting up.
250 gb ssd, 242 gb used. The space shouldnt be the problem.
The cloning software I use is EaseUS Todo Backup Home.

I used a different cloning application as you said, except I used samsung's own. It worked, and also it wanted me to get the space down to 209 gb, so you were right that having the ssd so close to full would be an issue.
Thanks!

Right.
The Samsung tool is good (I've used it as well). It WILL choke if it sees insufficient free space. It wants ~20% free.
And long term, your drive wants/needs that free space as well.
