Recently I haven't been able to check my CPU temps with ANY temperature monitoring programs. I've tried coretemp, realtemp, hwmonitor and MSI Afterburner and they've either said "unable to load driver" (for coretemp and realtemp) or just flat out don't show the temperatures.

I was able to do it just a few days ago, and the last thing I did was just restart my computer.
I tried looking around the internet for answers, but a lot seem either outdated or unsolved.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a Z370-E motherboard and an i5-8400 (if that'd be of any use)

I can't believing it.
I have an old 2-core laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate x64, 4 gb ram. Havin' MSI set to show the CPU temperatures on Tray, to show, with the tick and the ticks (;p). & no problems.
Driver Booster 7 did it with the drivers before, tho. I had a recent reinstallation.
And you have a new system with windows 10 x64, more than 4 gigs of ram...
I can't believing it.

MOD EDIT: Link to Driver Booster Removed. Driver Booster is Malware. Do not link or recommend this software.

I managed to solve the problem myself

Turns out Valorant's Vanguard was blocking the driver needed for CPU temp monitoring. Guess I won't be playing Valorant any time soon
