Cant open ports no matter i do

I have a problem that i cannot open any port no matter i do, i opened port 25565 in my internet modem ( huawei E5186s - 22a). I went and allowed java.exe and port 25565 in windows firewall inbound and outbound rules and still port isn't open. My ip for accesing modem is 192.168.8.1.

But what are you doing to "open" the ports?

What you need to do is go into Port Forwarding.

You want to forward ports 25565 through 25565 to IP 192.168.8.X for ports 25565 through 25565

The thing is that i have allready port forwarded in modem section Virtual server for ip 192.168.8.102 WAN port 25565 and LAN port 25565

I don't think the virtual server is the section you need to be in.

What kind of router is it? maybe i can find a screen shot

My router is huawei E5186s - 22a. there is nothing about port forwaring, but virtual server.

Well , atleast i set my static ip but ports are still closed, checked by Port Forwarding utilities, internet browser and server, still closed.

Ok so i launched the server, and then checked ports everywhere i could think off, still says closed and still cannot connect to server trough my public ip address

3389 should never be blocked by any ISP, so you can try that. But then when she connects to your public ip she will need to specify the port ip.address.number😛ORT

You'll also need to switch the port settings on your minecraft server and your router.

It is possible that 25565 is straight up blocked by your ISP, what country are you in?

yeaaah idk anything about Latvia or your ISP restrictions.

It is possible for the ISP to block ports, so i think you should try using a port they don't block for the server.

you switched the port forward? Did you go WAN 3389 to LAN 25565 or did you go WAN 3389 to LAN 3389 and update your minecraft server and restart?

Posting a response as short as, still isn't working, is not going to get us anywhere. Be extremely specific in your responses and explain all changes made.

Well i modified both WAN and LAN to 3389 and she could not connect, then i changed LAN back to 25565 and still she cannot connect. i even made 3389 port open in windows firewall

Well when you switched the WAN you made sure she is correctly specifying the port when she connects right?

yes, i sent her the ip with port and it was correct 85.254.XXX.XXX:3389

I blame ISP for blocking your ports. Is she also in Latvia? Latvia might be blocking her connection based on her location, if she were in Russia or something.

The thing is, 1 of my friends can open that port really easy and play, and we all are from latvia, we all can play on it.Now i restarted everything = pc and router, still cannot connect
