Can't play ASF video

Hello all. A trusted friend sent me a video in .asf format. I went to play
it in Win Media Player v10. WMP stated that is was downloading the codec,
but when it was done with that I got a msg saying "Windows has blocked this
software because it can't verify the publisher." How do I turn that off so I
can view the video?
