Can't read DVD-R

Hi,
Could anyone help with an issue I'm having with a DVD-R disc.
I was able to view existing video files on the disc with my DVD RW drive, until I burnt some more video clips to the disc. The drive recognises the disc, indicates the amount of space used, but does not display any files at all on the disc.

Forgot to mention, I'm using windows 7,
and the original files on the disc were ripped on a different pc

Usually when you rip a dvd it is done all at once and then closed out untill you want to write over it so you may have done that. The other Pc that was used does it have the exact same OS? Same version 32 bit or 64 bit ?

As I understand it you have created a multi session disk and when you added the latest session you lost the data that was previously there.
This is a common problem that sometimes happens for some mysterious reason that no-one I know has been able to explain. The missing data is still there but you are unable to see it. The best program I know of to recover the data is ISO Buster which unfortunately is not free, but will recover your data for you.
