Can't seem to figure out what is taking up so much space on my ssd

i got windows installed and some of my important programs thats it, all the folders come to 76.5gb yet i only have 3gb left on my 120gb ssd ;/

Did you do a windows upgrade? Maybe you still have the windows.old folder on your C drive which could be taking up some space.

Get an ulility like WinDirStat, it will tell you where the disk space is gone.
Using "Disk Cleanup" both on user and system files also could recover some space.

Your C: partition is only 80G, there is an unused space sitting out there. Somehow, somewhere, sometime, somebody partitioned your C: to be 80.

Run STORAGE MANAGEMENT and find out.

WizTree - it analyzes disk space, which you can sort files and folders by size etc.

When trying to get rid of some Lenovo Backups (RRBackups) that Windows could not find, even with the "Show hidden files and folders" option ticked, it did not display these files. Helped us at my company to clone some of the HDDs to SSDs without overspending!
