Can't seem to figure out why my CPU is overclocking

For whatever reason, my CPU (FX 8120) seems to be overclocking by itself from 3.1ghz to 3.4ghz. Can't seem to figure out what BIOS setting is causing this. If anyone has any experience with the MSI 970 Gaming MOBO and its BIOS, please tell me how to disable this.

I've seen cases where updating the BIOS fixes this. Have you looked in the BIOS and looked into limit CPU core clock?
