Cant uninstall old HP Printer

I get this message The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable

Is there more to the message such as "try an alternate path" or something else? It may not be finding a file it needs to uninstall the program. You can try this link (scroll down to the resolution section): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2438651
