Hi! I've got my rig for a while now and decided to lurk in the bios and learn some things. I noticed that my ram is clocked at 2133mhz and decided to up it since I wanted the most value out of my 3200mhz ram. I browsed the web and found that the sweet spot for my AMD Ryzen 5 2600 would be 3000mhz with 16gb of ram. I upped it and everything seemed to be fine. Launched Rust and noticed it crashed without an error. Same for other games like Dead by Daylight, DayZ, CSGO etc. . Tried lowering the speed until I find a stable sweet spot while tuning the voltatge a bit but I never found a sweet spot. Even at 2400mhz, games would crash. Ran memtest86 and it showed that everything is fine. Any suggestions?

PC Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
GPU: RTX 2070
MOBO: B450 AORUS ELITE
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB

Solution
set the memory at it's manufacturer rated voltage and see if it performs as it should.
manually clocking memory can be a very time consuming thing to find the perfect voltage for each particular setting.

also make sure the memory is on the motherboard QVL.
