Case fan doesnt work in my pc but works in other pc

Hey , I bought two 4pin arctic pwm case fans. One is 120mm and second one is 80mm. The problem is that the 120mm one doesnt work on my motherboard. I tried cpu header and both case fan header but nothing works. 80mm is working fine in all headers. So headers arent a problem I think. I tried that 120mm fan in my friends PC and it works. Why?

Did you try adjusting fan settings in the BIOS?

Some things to check...

The motherboard headers may be fixed as voltage-only and the 120 mm PWM fan doesn't work under voltage control. Many BIOS let you change that setting to 'AUTO' and it will figure out what's appropriate for the fan.

OR...the fan speed setting (either voltage level or PWM duty cycle) in BIOS is fixed too low for the 120mm fan to start up, at least until a monitored temperature exceeds whatever threshold is set.

Ok, so I didnt do anything, plugged it in and it works now. I dont know what happened. It also works in every header.
