I currently have a Cougar 6XR9 case which has a top mounted PSU with a 135mm fan, I also have a side mounted 140mm intake fan which is fairly quiet and came with the case. The case also came with a 120mm exhaust fan which has its own separate temperature sensor and determines it's speed based on that sensor.
I want to replace the exhaust fan with a PWM exhaust fan that is quiet and can be controlled directly by the motherboard (instead of its own temperature sensor) and I want to install another intake fan at the front of the case where there is a space for it (the space also has a filter included).
Can you recommend some quiet 120mm PWM fans that have blue LEDs? Also will the configuration of 1x side mounted 140mm intake, 1x front mounted 120mm intake, 1x rear mounted 120mm exhaust and 1x top mounted 135mm PSU exhaust be ok?
My machine doesn't run that hot but I would like to ensure there is plenty of airflow and since the front mounted fan would blow toward the rear of my GPU (MSI R9 280X) I'm hoping it will help to keep the GPU nice and cool.
