Greetings,

I am building a PC and I am confused with my case fans. Before I explain the problem I will include the full list of the parts I've ordered:

Ryzen 3 2200g
Seasonic S12II-520 520W Bronze (SS-520GB)
MSI B450 TOMAHAWK AM4
8GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 3000Mhz Kit
SanDisk Ultra 3D 2.5 500GB SATA3 SDSSDH3-500G-G25
Western Digital Caviar Blue 3.5 1TB 7200rpm 64MB SATA3 WD10EZEX
Deepcool Kendomen

Firstly I want to say, that I've never build a PC before and to be honest I didn't really know anything about the PC parts until about 2-3 weeks ago. I decided to build my own PC, instead of paying someone else to do it. After reading and watching lots of videos about where and how to install all PC parts I decided to check my case and prepare myself until my HDD is here ( which will be here be tomorrow ).

I have watched many videos about the Deepcool Kendomen case and none really shows the two top fan connections.

Here is a link to the case - http://www.deepcool.com/product/case/2015-02/9_1721.shtml

It has 5 fans - 1rear, 2 front and two fans at the top of the case.

The rear fan and the two front fans each have a small three pin motherboard connector and a large 4 pin molex connector for the PSU ( if what I see corresponds to what I've learned ).

The problem is the the two top fans have only three pin small connectors ( for the motherboard and they don't have large 4 pin molex connector, as the other three fans ) and they each are connected to a what it seems to be a fan extension cables, which fan extensions cables seem to come from the top front part where the power and fan controller buttons are.

Along with the cables of the usb, hd audio, usb 3.1 and the really small cables ( hdd, power ), that come from the front of the case and through the side of the case, comes a large four pin molex connector. I am not sure if that large four pin molex connector, that comes from the front of the case ( along with the other cables ) is part of the top fans extentions. However that large four pin molex connector does not have small three pin connector for the motherboard, as the the rear and the two front fans. So I'm not sure if that connector is a part of the fan extentions, connected to the top fans ( only guessing as it's not possible to see ) and if that is the case, does it mean it has to be attached to the power supply ( as it doesn't have a connector for the motherboard )?

I can't take pictures, since my phone display is broken and it will be some time, till I get a new phone.

Also, i am sorry for the extremely long post, but I tried to explain as best as I could.

I will appreciate any help, whether from people, who have build a PC with that case or if anyone manages to understand what I am talking about.

I do have a manual and I looked at it but honestly i am unsure of it. And I did watch many video guides for that case. The ones, that happen to be more detailed are in other languages and the english ones are not as detailed (specifically on the the top fans connection ).

Thanks in advance!

The driver for your LAN adapter should have been installed by the OS. But if it wasn't, you get it from the motherboard manufacturer.
As with all other driver you need. Directly from the device manufacturer.

Your ISP need not get involved. Your current cable will work.

Can you do it from the CD/DVD you have? Sure. But those are almost certainly old. Best to download the current ones.

I did plug in the current internet cable I have but it says'' unidentified network'' and it can't access internet. I will be buying a router these days and will call the ISP to set it up by the next week, but until then I was hoping I could use the current internet cable ( even if I have to plug it in and out netween the two computers ), so I could finish with the Windows activation key and hopefully try to maybe run Steam and see how is the gaming performance etc.

I will go and try to download the latest drivers for my components.

Btw any tips or guides on that to where specifically on the computer I have to install the drivers and how to keep my software folders managed.
On my laptop I used and still have lots of cluster with new and old software and frequently I didn't know what is what, since many of the names of the files were different than the specific software they were installed for.

Thanks again

Drivers get installed to whatever default location they use. It serves no purpose to change that.

Software applications? Given a rational size C drive, those get installed to whatever default location they want.

The stuff that really takes up space is games and all your personal data. Movies, music, downloads, etc.

For Steam games, you can have them live on other drives if you choose:
Steam games location
In the steam client:
Steam
Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add library folder

For other things, you can designate alternate locations for the Libraries. Documents, Pics, Music, Video.

Location for Downloads through your browser(s) is easily set in the browser settings.

I will check the guides out.

I wanted to know:

1. How to configure the internet connection,so i can connect the new PC to internet. As I mentioned, when I plug the internet cable it says unidentified network.

2. In the list of drives only C drives shows up and I am not sure where is the HDD ( D ) drive.

3. I am surprised that the installation took 20gb form the C drive. It shows 445gb free ot of 465. Not to mention that the SSD is 500g. Is this normal?

1. Installing the LAN driver should work. it also depends on what that cable is connected to at the other end

2. "list of drives" for what? The driver install? That is normal

3. The OS install taking 20GB? That is absolutely normal. That will also grow over time.

1. The driver was installed by the OS. I did try to set up a new internet connection and enter my internet username and password. It showed ''error 691'' and said the connection was denied because the username and password were not recognized or because the authentication protocol is not permitted on the remote access server. But my username and password are correct because I just logged into my provider's site with them.

2. The storage drives or whatever they are. C drive is my SSD and it shows up when I go to my computer. The HDD, which is 1tb is nowhere to be seen.

1. I have no idea what's going on with your connection. What type of connection is this? Cable, DSL, fiber, WiFi, other...

2. Does this HDD appear in Disk Management?

I contacted my internet provider, because the problem was not in my username and password. Anyways, I am writing from the new pc, finally!

When I go to ''disc management'' it shows the C drive ( the SSD ) at the top, along with two partition drives ( ''disc 1 partition 2'', which is 99 mb and ''recovery disc'' which is 529 mb ).

A the bottom is ''Unknow disk 0'' with 931gb and is ''Unallocated''. So seems like that's the HDD drive, which I will try figuring out how to allocate.

RIght click on where it says "Unallocated".
What options does it give you?

And I'm hoping there is absolutely nothing on that drive you wish to keep?
It also says ''Not initialized''. When I right click it gives me option ot initiliaze it.

Everything on the pc is brand new, including the drives, So, no worries - there's nothing on the HDD drive.

Thank you very much cin19 and USAFRet
! Your help is greatly appreciated !
If it wasn't for both of you I wouldn't have made and my new pc too.
And I've learn ome things from you two.

So, thanks again and I hope you both have a great day/evening!
