Hi all,

I'm looking for a new case to fit an E-ATX motherboard and unless I go full tower it seems to be pretty slim pickings in terms of compatibility, but at the same time I'd prefer a Mid-Tower size case, or as close to as possible.

I love the look of the Lian Li 550X but would be wary of the significant lack of airflow. Other Mid-Towers don't seem to cater for E-ATX and was wondering if you fine people had any suggestions?

Only issue I see with that is the same as the 550 - that it's pretty much solid with little ventilation all around.

I use a nearly identical looking Define r5 and it is one of the best cooled cases I have used. It came with 2 (hidden) 140mm intake fans with a filter and an exit 140mm fan, the 2nd exit being the PSU. It has lower internal temps than the previous several including a very costly all aluminum Zalman.

Thanks again for the reply, had a look at the XL R2 and unfortunately it won't do - I should've provided better info at the start.

The case will need to house a 360mm and 280mm radiator and the XL R2 will not be compatible with either.
