Case that Doesn't Rattle? Lian Li?

I like Lian Li cases, but the last two I had constantly rattled.
Somebody on IRC said newer Lian Li models have rubber stripping around
to prevent that. Is that true? Where can I get one of these newer
Lian Li's?

Dunno about rubber stripping, but my new PC-60 doesn't rattle...

You can change any case to make it not rattle. Even expensive cases
will rattle if components are not secured, or they may generate a
frequency that causes the case to vibrate. Although impractical, you
could bolt the case to a block of concrete or place a sandbag inside
the case.

Why not just go down the hardware store and buy a bag of rubber washers?

The primary issue is which part(s) rattle.

Given that these are all (relatively) thin metal that can be bent ever so
slightly, any part that's vibrating can be fixed such that it won't. If
you're using low-quality fans that're imbalanced then replace the fans.
When all else fails a bit of foam tape stategically applied will also stop
rattles though bending the metal is easier. I'm not talking about huge
bends, just barely bending (more like flexing) it is enough when done in
the right spots.
