Sure. These are for my 4850 with 11.2 (single card). Let me know if these don't work and I'll try posting them elsewhere.

It seems that the Catalyst interface is different with 48xx series.I hope 58xx/5970 cards had the same interface.
For me, there is no option to disable Catalyst AI(It can be set to performance,quality,high quality) and 2 other options beneath it(one is for surface optimization and the other one is for power settings)

That's what it was doing to me too, Maziar. Then I installed Catalyst Software Suite with APP removed over the regular Catalyst and the normal AI interface is now in CCC.

I installed 11.2 on my laptop (specs below) and it causes the video driver to fail about 10 seconds into a flash video (youtube, hulu). Went back to 11.1, problem gone. I've had this issue with some previous drivers, although I dont recall which ones in particular. It was around June/July of last year (may have been 10.6 or 10.8).

-Sager W860CU: CPU: i7 720 QM, GPU: Mobility HD5870, SSD: Intel x-25m g2 160gb, BD/DVD-RW drive, 6gb DDR3 @ 1333

5850 @ 1280x1024

scored 3900-4000 on 3D Mark 11 with 11.1 and scored the same with 11.2, all games appear to perform the same, no stability issues

I wish I could get back to 11.2 and test it with the method you mentioned but until the 99% GPU usage isn't solved,I'm sticking with 10.10

Ya... waiting until a Driver comes out that plays nice with your system is always a Good idea

Why bring yourself problems when you don't need to, especially as often as they come out.
