CD/DVD drivers for emachine 5250

Hello,My computer will not burn music CD's from either iTunes library or any other program (eg windows media player). Could it be a driver problem?

I don't know...can you tell me...

1) had it burnt CDs before?
2) are the CD's usable?
3) Is your computer a CD burner and you inserted a DVD-R?
4) Is your computer able to burn CD's (tell us what you see on the CD Drive door
