CD Rom/Floppy Leads

It's my first build (Abit KT7 Raid Mobo)and I have installed my CD Rom (Creative CD363DE) and floppy from my last system.
I have attached the ribbon cables and PSU leads and think there should be another lead for the CD.I cant find a driver for the CD.Will Win 98 recognise it? Thanks

Probably the lead you are thinking of is the audio connector. this should go from the back of your cdrom to the sound card. Depending on the manufacturer of your cd, it could be a cable with a white four pin head, a black four pin head, or a black three pin head.
