(My comp is a Cybermax AMD-k7(tm)with 128 Mb RAM processor) My cd rom is not working properly. If you insert a cd it will light up the busy signal and you can hear the cd churn. However, my computer does not detect its presence. Any suggestions?
Thanks-Katz

Could be a funky IDE cable.. could be something else (i.e. bad drive, not good enough p/s, bad IDE controller, corrupted controller driver). If it does it with just one disc, it might just be that disc. Since you didn't put it together and are probably not familiar with it's config.. Can you call Cybermax for support? If not, you may need to take it somewhere to have em take a look at it.
