cd/rw not recognised as a recordable device

My cd/rw is not recognised as a recordable device.It was
previously recognised.Ive checked the registry and thats
ok.Can anybody help

Did you right-click the drive letter in Windows Explorer, click
PROPERTIES|RECORD tab and enable it for recording?

Exactly what in the registry did you check to know that it's ok?
