Hi,
I installed a newer cd-r/rw drive and I use to use rw disc's which were formated and the OS saw it just like a storage device. Now XP want's to copy the items to be burned to a special folder and burn from there. Is there a way to bypass this indirect way of burning to the rw and just drag and drop, copy and paste to the cd-rw?

The new drive (TDK 4800B) uses the new Mt. Rainier formatting now and I can not use the old method of formatting, from MY understanding.

Thanks to all for your help.

I use Ahead Software's InCD to format and mount CD-RWs as if they were drives (or big floppy disks).

Try going to Ahead software's homepage and downloading the latest version of InCD at
