CE-HELP!!!!

Well, I've installed it, upgraded to 1.51 and everytime I go to make a game,
it says "unhandled access violation" then I hit ok, closes d2... so yeah
what do I do?

Jerk-o, It doesn't give you the option to use existing characters.

Brandon, do you have any modified files in there? eg modified .dll for
multiple instances, cd loaded on virtual drive? The anti-cheat features in
CE are very sensitive to anything that may be a hack. There is also a
possible problem with directory names with a space in them (program files),
I know I had to do a fresh install into a C:games to get it to run, however
having said this I have yet to get it to run on my sons comp and I have
tried everything I could think of or find in the forums.

Have you launched the Chaos Empire activator? It should be in your Start
menu under Chaos Empire. When you launch "Chaos Empire Activator", it
changes some DiabloII files around so that Chaos empire will run on your
computer. You can then launch Chaos Empire by using the "Launch Chaos
Empire in English" shortcut. If you want to run normal DiabloII you will
have to run "Chaos empire activator" again to change the DiabloII files
back the way they were.
