Question Certain games randomly have huge lag

Recently, I upgraded my ram from 8 to 16, there were no issues for awhile, but suddenly certain games like Apex and Crab games have insane lag, for apex it's only when im in a match, the menu seems to be fine, but for Crab the game lags like crazy at all times and both seemed to be capped near 10 fps, I've never had this issue until i upgraded so I put my old ram back in and the issue seems to remain, any ideas why? Should mention that other games such as valorant and LOL haven't been affected at all and remain the same.

what are specs of the PC?
Adding ram shouldn't negatively affect PC

When you upgraded, did you buy 16gb of ram or just buy an extra stick? do both sticks match?

Specs right now are Ryz 3200g GTX 1060 b450 M4 MB
When I upgraded I gotta set of two 8 sticks and both match, I replaced my old ones instead of just adding the two new ones
