Hello, i've already installed win 11 and deleted the ubuntu partition. Now i want to change the boot order to start win 11 without usb stick. but in the bios settings i cant directly select the windows boot manager. When i press enter on OS boot manager windows boot manager is on priority 2 after ubuntu. When i change the order here and press esc the changes arent saved. i already tried to use th bcdedit /delete command in the win 11 terminal in admin mode with the right identifier for ubuntu but it still doesnt work because the command isnt valid. Does anyone have some advice for me?

If it's a new windows install just start over, deleting every and all partitions and letting windows do its thing.

Right now windows installed the bootloader on a partition that was a part of ubuntu before so it has to start from there, unless you installed from USB and changed the bios settings to have the USB as the first boot device and windows boots from the USB first, in that case you would just be able to change that back.

Re install but have the windows disk as the first boot device and use the boot menu to boot from the USB (on some mobos they call it boot override).
