Question Change HP PRODESK 600 G5 SFF case to an mATX case ?

Hi community,

Just want to ask if the components inside the HP PRODESK 600 G5 SFF will fit in an mATX case? I want to use the motherboard, cpu, ram and storage and upgrade its psu and gpu.

I wouldn't advise moving the components out of any prebuilt sff as they are going to be highly proprietary.

Prebuilts are mostly proprietary. It's doubtful anything will be a smooth transition from one case to the other. I've seen them go as far as to design boards that don't even have the screw holes in the right places to fit a standard case and even where the connector to the power button was different from a standard case.
