Change the refresh rate to 74Hz with an AMD Card and Lg Flatron w2243s

Hello !

I have an XFX hd7850 Double D. and Lg Flatron w2243s and i have try to change refresh rate ... but it doesn't work mad.gif
before when i had the GTX 460 it worked very easy with Nvidia Driver Tools You can personalize i have changed from 60 to 74 hz with the same Monitor .... but when i have changed my GPU ... its doesn't work when i change the refresh rate on the AMD Vision ... so could some one help me... thanks any way smile.gif have a nice day wink.gif

That display isn't supposed to support 74Hz (although it is rated for 75Hz). Have you tried 75Hz? Also, what Catalyst driver version are you using?

i have tried 74 hz and it worked but on gtx 460 & nvidia driver tools ! i have The 12.8 catalyst version

You could try updating to 12.9 beta if you want to. I know that you said 74Hz worked on Nvidia, but I'm telling you that you should try 75Hz now because you say that 74Hz isn't working (which it's not supposed to anyway because the display is supposed to be a 75Hz display).

ummmmmmmm i ll try ... 75 worked on nvidia but the font is not too much clear ... but 74 it worked very well !

IDK what to say about it, then. Do you notice a difference between 60Hz and 74/75Hz on that display? I'd assume so if that's a CRT, but I'll ask anyway.

yes a big diff. in gaming ... u can notice that..; try it if you have an Nvidia GPU and lunch BF3 with 1080p & 74hz And Enjoy

powerstrip :s didnt work ... i have try on google .. but i wanna help from someone whose know how to cofigure refresh rate ... and to break the 60 hz limite
