I recently built a computer and I have a red light theme in the rest of it. The power light on the case in unfortunately blue. I'm wondering how hard it would be to change that to a red light. Now the light for the hard drive activity on this case is red, could I swap the lights right there and change the connection on the motherboard? Or do I have to actually replace the light thats in it. I happen to have red LED's that I pulled out of a 80mm rosewill led fan laying around. Just wondering what would be the easiest way to do this. Thanks for any input!

My case is a Lepa Smok series if it matters and my MB is M2N68-LA (IVY)
and a pic of the power button if it helps.

Solution
yes you can swap it at the motherboard. hard drive light wires are usually red & white with 2 pin connector. power light is usually green & white with either 2x1pin connectors or a 3pin connector.

Hey thanks Ill give it a try.
