[SOLVED] Changing Motherboard Lenovo To Asus..

hi everyone have a question I want to change my motherboard Lenovo V520 Tower. I don't know if the pieces will match each other motherboard or not

this is the new motherboard that I bought Asus H110M-R / Socket 1151

please help😭

my spec in Lenovo currently
g4400 ram 4gb - ddr4 2400mhz hdd 500gb
will it succeed if i move the pieces from Lenovo to the asus motherboard?

What exact CPU is on that V520? The hard drive is of no consequence, it should work.

You can get away sometimes if your RAM is not on the QVL (qualified vendors list). You can just test out your RAM by installing it and trying it on some games/stress tests. But you can't get away with an incompatible CPU

The main concern is going to be the power supply and if it can connect to the new motherboard.

my cpu use Pentium G4400 3.1ghz
and i see my ram is samsung 4gb ddr4 2400mhz
It came with a Lenovo

Hey! thanks for reply i don't think so if ram compatible with motherboard because I saw that it is compatible with only 2133MHz
will this affect if put 2400 MHz?

because I want to upgrade a power supply and I was trying to buy adapter 10pin / 24pin but have some problems in the purchase of online and now I want to buy a new motherboard to install the used parts my computer Lenovo that's because upgrade gpu and ram

For the ram speed, the new motherboard doesn't support 2400Hz, but you can adjust that in the bios by lowering the clock to the highest clock supported.

You don't have change the memory in bios. The board will automatically set it to 2133mhz.

Are you asking if running DDR4 2400Mhz memory at 2133Mhz will damage the motherboard or other parts? It will not damage the board, it will use default Mhz, voltage and memory timing settings specified in the modules SPD, which in your case would be 2133Mhz.
