i want to change ou the power suppl yin my Hp Pavilion a1519h to a 500w power suppl y anyone know of a compatible power supply. I am upgrading my video card and need more power.
any regular atx power supply will do. The only issue you would want to be aware of is the reliability of your future power suppply. If you are money concious, i'd recommend the cooler master 500 power supply. great wattage for the money.
I was getting a new PSU and saw PSUs that were labeled they were for HP. Have no idea if they are in someway different than a normal PSU or if it's just a money scam. Didn't check the prices since I don't have an HP

Funny... most coolermaster PSUs are no good (There's only one coolermaster line that has some decent quality), if you want a PSU, make sure it's something stable and powerful like Antec NeoHE, Seasonic S12/M12 series, Corsair HX/VX series are all great supporting any gaming computers, however if you are not powering a gaming pc, then I suggest getting something slightly cheaper from FSP Group, one of their 450W-500W units for around $50-60 only.
I did get that coolermaster 550 from newegg just as a spare, hey it was $25 delivered with a promo code, it can't be that good. You get what you pay for to a point.
